Rene Marie Russo (born Rene Marie Russo) is an American film actress, model and filmmaker. Her elegant beauty and her success in the film industry demonstrate her talent as an actor. Her professional career started with a modeling job in the year 1970 and she quickly rose to the top of the heap. At the beginning of 1990 she started studying acting and theatre. Later, in Los Angeles and California she made her first stage appearances. in 1987 Russo was the lead character Eden Kendell in ABC's drama Sable. In the following year she portrayed Tom Berengers love interest in her debut film Major League. At first, she was skeptical about her capabilities as an actress, the reviewers were enthralled because of her tenacity. According to her, she never had a passion in acting. In 2005 she decided to take a long, self-imposed break. Following a lengthy break, she returned for her part in Thor. Rose was a high-flyer but she's also had lows in her career but always came in the end on winning. Rose defeated Carla Esparza to win the Women s Strawweight Championship in The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale. Rose won with a technical knockout after under three minutes Round One. Rose was also given the title of Fighter Of The Night and made history as it marked the first time a women had ever competed in a tournament with a major promoter worldwide. Namajunas kept winning other victories, including 2 wins over Joanna Jedrzejczyk that earned her Best Performance of the Night award from UFC.
