Taylor started recording ASMR via her mobile phone before uploading the videos on YouTube. PewDiePie included her in a gaming online video not long after she hit 50,000 subs approximately 1 1/2 months after launching her initial video. Taylor was unable to work in her Youtube channel at two months. Nearly 100,000 subscribers. The reason for this was technical difficulties and she felt overwhelmed. Wired UK calculated that she earned $1,000 per each day through her YouTube channel in February of 2019.

Helfer is a native of the rural area of Donalda, Alberta, Canada and was the daughter of Dennis Elaine and Dennis Elaine Helfer. Helfer is of German, English and Swedish descent. She went to William E. Hay Composite High School located in Stettler. The three sisters Tammy, Tara, and Trena were also employed by her on the grain farm. At the age of 17, Helfer's modeling agency agent spotted the model while waiting in line at a theater.
